Introduction:
Tabata, the Japanese martial arts practice known as "21-second work out," is gaining popularity worldwide for its rapid and intense workout routines. One such workout routine that has gained immense popularity in Qatar is the Al Duhail Yoga Studio. Objective of the Study:
The objective of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of Tabata training in Al Duhail Yoga Studio compared to traditional yoga practices like Hatha and Vinyasa.
Methodology:
This study utilized a double-blind experimental design with two groups - one group consisting of 45 participants who were trained in Tabata exercises while the other group consisted of 40 participants who were trained in traditional yoga techniques.
Results:
The results showed that both groups performed significantly better than the control group (the group without any exercise) in terms of heart rate, blood pressure, and muscle strength after completing the 21-second work out. Additionally, both groups exhibited significant improvements in their flexibility and balance.
